Two of his three requests have to do with wirelessly syncing while on a dock, and the other is a request for deeper car integration. I'm with him on these, and the two wireless sync requests could (and should) be included in the next update.

On that note, here are a couple things I've been wishing for in the Zune for a while, most of which could be easily implemented:

Music:

The number-one feature request I get from iPod-owning friends when they use my Zune is for a "view all tracks by artist" feature. This should definitely be a priority for the XNA team.

Not really a game, but a simple RSS reader, synced on-the-go or at sync time would be awesome.

Social:

Allow videos below a certain size to be shared via wifi. Do you have any suggestions for the device? Sound off in the comments!

Re: Quick List

Can't you just add the tracks you want to hear later to the Now Playing list?

The biggest thing I'm look for now is Live Mesh integration/support. Allow Zune device to browse/search and stream (not sync) contents from a Live Mesh folder.

I want to be able to have the option to list albums by "date added" on the device. It is my default on my computer(s) and I don't want to have to create a playlist for the function

Bring back the Quick List. Playing another song, album, or artist will erase any playlist you've been working on, which is quite annoying.

To view all tracks, just "Play All" songs for the artists, then go to "Show song list" (press the select button). Now you can pick any song from the artist song collection.

yeah, bring back the quicklist or better OTG playlist capabilities

Games: haha. XNA was released in beta stages more than 6 months ago and they still dont allow the community to place games on the marketplace or something.

Zune needs a sleep timer instead of an alarm.

Just create one (or two) autoplaylist with a defined set of days.

i'm still trying to figure out what the Al M604 dock has to do with this thread when no one has asked for a new dock (BTW that was the best looking dock evar!)

It would be great if it auto accepted content from other people, or at the minimum played a sound when someone tried to share with you. I run into a Zune everyonce in awhile and try to share but they're never looking to know :(

Yeah, I love my M604. The dock was in the original article, and I couldn't think of anything else that represented wireless syncing :D.
