Pretty cool, eh?</p>

Cool ? Yep but that also tells me the price cuts alone are not boosting sales as much as projected.

You'd think that the concept of a sale right before the holidays was unheard of until now. :rolleyes:

The Zune 80 wasn't involved in the recent cuts (and is actually on its way out anyway).

Well considering that you can get a new Zune 120 on Amazon for $228.47 with free shipping, this doesn't sound like such a great deal. I would've expected a bigger price cut on last year's hardware now esp. now that this year's hardware has been out for a few months now.

it is time for Microsoft to get aggressive with Zune Pass. Start throwing out random free months to people, get the passes out there so people just slightly curious can get it, show friends, get hooked.

They also need a heavily discounted YEAR pass. If they offered 1 year for $120 I'd be all over that. take a few pages from TiVos book.
