That was pretty funny. The Apple parts, anyway.

Yeah... The Simpsons still have their moments...

I've always wondered where the over-the-top hatred comes from. It's a product line. No more no less. Not interested? Then don't buy one but to go out of your way to hate on it is irrational. I find it amusing that the most vial anti Apple stuff usually comes from people that have never used one. The depiction in the video was funny.

I completely agree. Most people can see the pluses and minuses of both. I for example am a Mac guy but I know where Windows has its place. I'd prefer not to use it if I can avoid it, but I also understand that it's not the end of the world if I have to. For some reason, we as Mac users have a reputation as being some wide-eyed drooling weirdos who worship Steve Jobs and accept him as our lord and savior, yet despite how prominent that stereotype is, I don't actually know any Mac users who are actually like that. Okay, maybe a few, but they're the exceptions not the rule.

In the end, I think most people just want to use the platform they prefer and be left alone. That, to me, is the way it should be.

It's all because of people like that in the video (they do exist and its scary). Blame them for the anti-Apple backlash. :P

Not as side splitting as Maddox's post (http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant), but funnier than anything I've seen from the Simpsons in a while:

"Did you get peanut butter in your ethernet port again?"
"You're all losers! Think you're cool because you buy a $500 phone with a picture of a fruit on it?"
"Traitor! Your heart is blacker than your turtle neck"
"Who dares question the boss we fired 10 years ago and then brought back?"
