Used Vista's Movie Maker to edit and save some video my daughter shot on a Flip Ultra. After editing I saved the file to the desktop (WMV2). Some older DVD players can't play WMV formatted DVD's so I converted it to MPEG2 using "Any Video Converter". That file I then burned to DVD using DVD Maker. Worked well except . . . the audio seems to be slightly off and I don't know if it occurred in the conversion or in the DVD burning. I'm stumped. Suggestions ?

I'm pretty certain you don't need to convert it first. Just create a DVD-Video directly from Vista with the WMV file - it will transcode to MPEG-2 on the fly and it should be playable on your standalone DVD player.
