<p><p><em>"The HP iPAQ 910c Business Messenger is, as its name implies, a very good business phone. Like the BlackBerry Curve, it proves that business phones can be attractive and we do like the looks and compact size. It's a dream phone for those who love the T-Mobile Dash, Moto Q9 and BlackJack II but want Windows Mobile Pro rather than standard edition. The QWERTY-bar design is ever-popular in the US and we do love it for easier one-handed operation and expedience. The iPAQ doesn't bring any flashy design elements as do the HTC Touch Pro or Omnia, but we'll largely forgive that since it aims to be a solid business and messaging phone rather than an iPhone competitor. That said, we do wish it had a flush touch screen which would make it both more attractive and finger-friendly. While the iPAQ couldn't be described as an iPhone killer, it certainly is a Treo killer and we're impressed with the display, features, design and build quality compared to recent Windows Mobile Treo models."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/spt/auto/1218536446.usr2.jpg" border="1" /></p><p>More iPAQ 910 reviews have surfaced, courtesy of&nbsp;<a href="http://www.pocketpcsoft.net/php/hp ipaq 910 912 914 review.php" target="_blank">PocketPCSoft.net</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phones/HP-iPAQ-910c.htm" target="_blank">MobileTechReview</a>, and they seem to confirm what others have said in the past: it's a winner. If you're after a solid, no-frills device, this looks like the one to get.</p></p>

I'm really happy that HP finally managed to fix all the problems witht the 910C we've been hearing in the past weeks, like very poor battery life (even worst with 3.5G use), annoying scroll wheel, constant freezes, overheating battery to the point of WM popping an alert, etc.

Or did they?

The last reviews I read where not benevolent at all!

Cheers!

I've had my device for 3 weeks now and have seen none of the problems you mention above. It does appear a few devices came out of the factory with an earlier ROM in them, perhaps this is the problem?

I've had my eye on this device for a long time... it's the form factor I want but it's specs are almost identical to my TyTN2 still not sure if I'll get one. I might wait a month or two before deciding.

Has anyone in here purchased and used this device for a few weeks? Today I am on the verge of ordering one from HP, but decided I need to check in here first to discover current owners' thoughts/reactions to the 910.

So, what do you think???

I currently have a Tilt that I really like. I thought I would be happy for a very long time, but the bar style with touch appeals to me. Besides, I love to buy phones...

I was debating between the new Palm 800 w/6.1 and this one. I ordered this one Friday. Should be here on Tuesday. If I like it as much as the Tilt, I'll be thrilled!
