I've run a few searches through the forums and haven't run across what I'm looking for so I thought I would ask my question here. I'm looking for a chronological listing of Pocket PC devices. Something along the lines of in 2000 these 8 devices were released by companies X, Y, and Z. In 2001 these 19 devices were released... yadda yadda. I will continue searching on my own but thought that I would post the question here to find out if that data has already been compiled by someone else or if I should start building it myself. Thanks for any assistance y'all can offer.

Someone is building a list on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pocket_PC_Devices) but it is not chronological.

To the best of my recollection the first Pocket PCs out in 2000 available in stores were the HP Jornada 540 series and the Cassiopeia E-115 device. They were followed quickly by the Compaq iPaq 3600 Series and the Cassiopeia E-125 device. That was pretty much it for the year 2000.

I like Pocket PC FAQ - Pocket PC, Handheld PC and Windows CE FAQs, Reviews, Commentary, etc! (http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/) by Chris DeHerrera .. .very informative site since the early days.

I don't know if this is of any use to you - it's HTC based units only:
