Thank you for your suggestions and feedback on how we can make Windows Mobile Total Access work even better for you. See for yourself how Windows Mobile Total Access makes it easier than ever to get more done on the go."

Windows Mobile Owner's Circle, we hardly knew ye! Literally. I was contracted to write a few articles about the Windows Mobile Owner Circle late last year, and prior to that assignment I hadn't even heard of the program. I didn't hear much more about it other than a mention in the newsletter. The new Total Access program looks pretty much identical to the Owner's Circle, but that might change over time. If you haven't signed up yet, jump over and do it. The new Windows Mobile site looks pretty slick as well!

They keep changing the look and the name of this thing every six months. Meanwhile, the content is the same old stuff -- and not particularly good in the first place.

As a Windows Mobile user, I don't feel particularly well-served by this portal.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not criticising any articles you may have written. I mean that the copy there tends to be geared toward someone who just took one of these out of the box for the first time, not someone who's been using them for years and years, and the themes and ringtones are pretty bad, and have been around on various iterations of this site for a while.

IMO it would be much better if they used MS resources to offer WM phones owners updates for the OS and apps.
My Startrek suddendly died on Wednesday and I had to buy a replacement right away: I got a Diamond and honestly it is no bad. I hate the big, seventish style clock but I can live with it.
I am waiting to see if HTC will offer, for a fee of course, an upgrade to WM 7 when it will be available, meaning not after six month of the OS release. If not I will abandon WM, period.

This site is basically just the old site with a shiny new coat of paint (graphic design). It's about as innovative as WM has been over the past 5 years (not very). WM itself needs a major overhaul- quickly, as I am defecting to the piece of fruit next week.

I just got my monthly email and it included a new application called
WorldMate Live.

Has anyone played with this yet? I'm going to install it but since I'm not travelling at the moment, I probably wont be able to get a true feel for it.
