In several of my articles, Bibles, W3C presentations etc., I’ve explained what HTTP User-Agents are, what they can be used for if you’re a webmaster etc. As my previous articles (see THIS (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=796&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1), THIS (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1125&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1) and THIS (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=482&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1), in addition to the W3C presentation (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=2625&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1) and the two Web Browsing Bibles HERE (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?p=1828) and HERE (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?p=2084)) on the subject got a bit outdated with the latest browsers and firmware versions out there, I’ve re-checked the User-Agents. This time, I also provide you with all the other headers, should you want to correctly identify the mobile browser even if it’s User-Agent spoofed (that is, it’s trying to hide its identity). Note that I don’t explain what this info is used for – I’ve already done this several times in the above-linked articles, read them first if you need more info on the usage of all this info.

Opera Mini 4 is what I have on my Java-enabled phone. It does its job with no fuss whatsoever and it's definitely an improvement over my phone's (not a smart one, beware!) default browser.
I especially enjoy using the zoom feature of OM4.

My choice for the desktop computing is Firefox, but I've also upgraded the IE to version no. 7 for use with Windows Update.

UPDATE: I'd like to mention this also: for me choosing a browser, is similar to deciding what clothes, food or places one's preferring. While it's nice to hear other suggestions it's better to try some of them and stay with those you enjoyed most
