Studio Plus video editing software AND an input device = JOY!

Beyond the varied uses of the Software, the ability to easily import video from existing VHS tapes would be the biggest boon - especially older tapes of kids (dance lessons, school plays, vacations & such).

Maybe even a few Really Old "super 8" films....

Oh-Oh-Oh!!!! What? A chance to become my neighborhood movie Mogul AND rescue two shelves of old, one-of-a-kind/irreplaceable VHS tapes? Do you have any idea of how many 60's documentaries and concerts and interviews I have on tape that i thought might be lost forever? Are you married.....? Sorry....i get carried away. Count me in please.

The big draw to me (as with the other of these contests I entered) is the USB capture adapter which would allow me finally to be able to move my laser disc collection to a digital medium. The movie editing features are also very welcome as I'm currently sitting on quite a few hours of baby videos that I'd really love to youtubeify.

Thanks again for the site and for the contest.

I have at least 30-40 old VHS tapes of my family and my son that I would to bring into the digital age. Ia m afraid that these old tapes will start to lose too much intregrity before I make the switch.

This would be great for two purposes-1) Making edits to video I get on occasion from movie making pal's "weekly" output in principle photography. He gets my point of view.
2) Copy video to DVD for saving. Politics and life.;)

At last, a reason to crank up my old SuperBeta VCR and see if it still works.
