Hard to choose between all software in this package

Although I would use "MakeDisc 3" for offloading my recorded TV shows from my hard drive to DVD's!

iTunes 7!!!!

No just kidding.

I'd pretty much just use it to watch DVDs! Cyberlink's little DVD player seems to work better than anything else. I'm sure i would take advantage of the other features such as DVD copying.

Difficult to pick just one - the main attraction would be in having so many functions available in a single suite.
But MediaShow 3 gets a slight nod: "dazzling photo slideshows on DVD" sounds like a lot of fun (although do you suppose they intend to use OUR pictures to create the dazzle???)

PowerDirector.
My little girl is on her way and my wife and I are sure to make a bunch of home videos of her. The tools in this suite are sure to make things as simple as they can. PowerDirector will be used to edit the videos, but I'm sure we'll use ALL of the different applications within this suite to make quality videos of our little girl.

With the Ultra version of the DVD Suite, I could play HD DVD on my pc using the XBOX HD DVD player using the PowerDVD 7.3 application!!

Video editing would probably get the most use, but hi-def recording would be great to play with if I ever get either an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray burner (maybe there'll be a firesale on HD-DVD burners?)

I'm getting married soon, so MediaShow would be fantastic for creating slide shows to keep our guests entertained as we finish up taking our wedding portraits. PowerDirector would be great as well for turning our wedding video into something watchable.
