It adds bookmark/folder/notes sync, iTunes/iPhoto conduits, Internet sharing, and SMS management, amongst others; a full comparison chart can be found here. Anyone here use SyncMate?

I have always used PocketMac (http://www.pocketmac.net/)and been very happy. Of course, my iPaq 4355 isn't exactly 'state of the art' so my needs have been very nicely met.

How is this one?

I gave up on syncing via mac osx. I have my exhchange account as my primary synchronization, xp runing via vmwares fusion which I use as a secondary sync but mainly to flash roms and install apps.

I also have entourage synched with my exchange account.. for pic/music/vid sync I just manually copy them over to macosx

I use MissingSync, and though it had a number of problems when I first installed it now works great after a few software updates.

It would be interesting to hear a comparison of these tools from someone who's used them all. I had never even heard of PocketMac.

What a flippin' idiot I am ... I used PocketMac early on when it was in beta, but Missing Sync has *always* been better, IMO. I am still on version 3, but it works great for everything I need!

I use SyncMate Expert. I have been running it and the previous betas. It runs flawlessly on my iMac OS X. It installs and it simple to set up. (Missing Sync works but I had tons of problems getting it to) It doesn't sync tasks though. I would imagine since it is new, that will be coming along eventually. They are willing to give a free license to anyone who hasn't reported a device that is working with it. So in otherwords, if you look at their blog and see what devices haven't been reported, and have one that does, send them your log and they will give you a free license.
