Sure, it looks like a gigantic, touchscreen HTC phone -- but we'd be hard-pressed to say this has any use outside of demo purposes and party time hijinks. Our guess is that this is a hilarious prank meant to thrill the interblogs, but it is possible that HTC has decided to move away from the tried-and-true handheld market to a more robust, manly line of products. Like a participant in a cat-fight, we won't "go there" on the specs, suffice to say, they make it sound really, really real. Check the video after the break to see the "phone" doing its thing, Ten Commandments-style."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/martin-20080208-pocketpt_HTC_Magnum.jpg" /><br /><br />With most phones getting smaller and smaller, it's hard for some of us to press those tiny buttons. The answer? Check out <a href="http://www.pocketpt.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20509">this monster</a>! OK, it's <a href="http://www.pocketpt.net/forum/index.php?s=0731bcec9267dc0240efd759240dbed7&showtopic=20527&st=0&p=129781&#entry129781">really a fake</a>, but I imagine it would have a use somewhere, say for a package deal with the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/07/chicago-2008-alton-f-650-xuv-makes-a-big-statement/">Alton F-650 XUV</a>. 8O

I can actually see a use for this thing: on the wall of a mobile command post. As a former fire/hazmat officer, I could have used this thing to look up information that several people needed to look at in order to make command and technical decisions.

It reminds me a lot of the old Dell Axim X5. Just something about the way it sits in your hand. ;)

It kind of reminds me of my HTC Advantage x7501. It's actually not all that different!

As a matter of fact, they used an Advantage to do the spoof.

That looks exactly like my monitor, a HP w2207. Gotta be...
