Hi there,
I've been having some trouble with my hp 5555 ever since the cradle/charger was unplugged for a couple of days. The charger light indicates a full charged battery (continously lit) but every time I turn it on and attempt to enter my security code/password it does not allow me to enter any # between 4 and 9 of the four digit code. Only #'s 1-3 will enter. I can enter #'s 1-3 in the last two blocks but then get a "wrong code" box that pops up and everything freezes completely.
I've tried soft and hard resets several times and even replaced the battery with no luck. The same screen comes up. The unit is 4-5 yrs old and was expensive so I'm getting very worried. Any help, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
