Among those features: Email analytics, extraordinarily useful contact cards, fast search, threaded (Gmail-like) conversations, and more. The video above gives an excellent overview, so give it a look. Seeing as Xobni has successfully made Outlook appear exciting (which is no easy feat), this freeware, Windows-only plug-in looks like a winner. Currently Xobni is in a closed beta..."</i><br /><br /><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9YhpdKa-NgY&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object><br /><br />This isn't directly related to Windows Mobile, but since most people using a Windows Mobile device are also using some version of Outlook, I thought this product would be of interest to you. It's still in a closed beta (I signed up to be notified when it's not), but you can <a href="http://www.xobni.com">check out the Xobni site</a> for more details (and let them know what email client you're using if it's not Outlook).

I don't think this is useful at all.

I've been using this for a few weeks.

It's sad. They're really features that should either be built into Outlook or at least pop up in the main window. Currently, clicking anything in Xobni opens it in the Xobni side panel.

The phone # feature doesn't really let u add it to ur Outlook address book and the the few times I needed to see previous attacments exchanged, they weren't there. Overall the whole thing is kind of neat but needs some options for customizations.

Also, currently my bottom panel reminds me to invite 5 more people to the beta so it takes up some screen real estate.

PM me if you would like an invite.

I've had it for 2 weeks also and am seeing the benefits already; I'm using it in the corporate environment and its helping loads. E.g. know that an attachment has come from person x - but not which email..... Xobni shows me all the attachments from an individual. I've removed one of my email search tools and replaced it with this tool.

Having said that I've already sent a feature request list back to the dev team as long as your arm  This this is one to watch for me.

Having over 50k email in my inboxes and few hundred more coming in every day from important partners, this is exactly what I need. I'm still puzzled how the world's leading enterprise email SW is so bad at searching and organizing. Making sense of emails makes at least as much sense to me as making sense of the web. These guys are on the right track for success, maybe not in the home-users market, but in the corporate environment. Even if junk mail amount is increasing, the amount of useful and important emails is growing as well.

Edit: -- Wow, I managed to get a Xobni invite within 5 minutes of posting it --
So I'm in desperate need of an invite so I can download and try, if anyone can arrange me one, I can offer a VIP account at pdamill.com, that is free full copies of all our games :-) Yay!
Edit: -- So I'm all set now, just keeping this post to encourage others to offer goodies for invite here, as it seems to work pretty well --

Cheers,
Peter
