Tracy and Matt's Blog is on a HTC Touch rampage; they've got both the Dual and the Cruise in their hands, and have posted a <a href="http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/2008/01/19/htc_touch_dual_review">review of the Dual</a> and a <a href="http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/2008/01/20/htc_touch_cruise_unboxed">preview/unboxing of the Cruise</a>. Take a look if you're interested in either of them.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/parekh-20080121-TracyMattHTCTouches.jpg" /><br /><br />The one thing I can't help but notice is the Cruise's striking design; it removes all the wind in my sails when it comes to the Dual. One thing Matt has heard, though, is that not everyone is receiving Cruises with the mirrored finish around the screen. Does anyone have a Cruise without the mirrored finish?<br /><br /><b>Update 2/3/08:</b> Tracy and Matt's Blog have uploaded their full Cruise review. <a href="http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/2008/01/29/htc_touch_cruise_review">Check it out.</a>

I have one with the mirrored finish. I have to say that I'm retty sure that I would prefer the one without it. While it looks great when it is perfectly clean, in reality, it is constanly covered in fingerprints - at least in my case. I no sooner clean it then it's covered again. I'm hoping that eventually someone will sell an screen protector which covers the entire face (similar to the one that comes with it, only antiglare).

Otherwise, it has been the best device I've ever owned so I suppose it is a small price to pay.

MobilePlanet says now Februrary
Does it have bugs with non-responsive tocuhscreen as TyTyn II ?

I had originally ordered it with MobilePlanet, then heard about onthegosolutions.com. I had never heard of them before I ordered the Cruise. From now I will use them as my first choice as I was extremely impressed with their customer service. Real people answer the phone and do their level best to make you happy. In my case they went above and beyond to do me a favor that I didn't even ask for (after I got the Cruise delivered as ordered).

I haven't had any issues with the display (or really anything else that wasn't tweakable) but you might wish to check out the forum at xda-developers.com to get a broader range of experience. I do know that it has the same DirectDraw video issues as the TyTyn II but for me this was sorted by changing to GDI or Raw Frame buffer in CorePlayer.
