The 6150 looks like a solidly built device, and I find myself wondering how they managed to fit in all those connectors on a device this size. Have a look see and tell us what you think!

It's nice to see this moving out of the vaporware state; it looks ideal in addressing all the various shortcomings of my Cingular 8525 (VGA, fast processor, decent memory, no QWERTY keyboard to make it thicker than it needs to be), and the XGA output is gravy. I just wish I had the money now to pick one up. Oh, well, we'll see how much I overpaid Uncle Sam last year; maybe there'll be enough coming back...

I never thought we'd see these made. In fact I expected I-mate to go under.

i-mate Ultimate 6150 and 8150 is darn good devices. They are 100% same, except the 2.8" and 2.6" VGA screen. The TV Out, FM Radio and other nice features works very good! People in forums is sceptic to the price, I can't justify the price as its up to the retailer (yes, its the same price to all distributors all over the world - and that price is good!). Other things people have mentioned is how one could have larger screen due to the unoccupied "plastic". I think, after been using these for a long time that the screen is big enough, but if you take 10 potential customers and ask their opinion you will get at least 10 different answers ;)

I'm also glad to finally see one of these Ultimate devices actually released. I think the 9502 will be my next device and it sounds like it could be released next month. It will be my first converged device. I never found anything before that could handle both my pda and phone functionality together with all the features I wanted. It will replace my Toshiba E-830 (Do you have any clue how hard it was to buy one of these in the U.S. when it came out?!??!) and LG CU-500.

We'll see, I'll try to at least wait for one good review before I buy the thing but I've been drooling for a while now:)

The device looks nice. Love to see VGA. I don't like the joystick off to the side. I use my device in my right hand.
