Best pdf software

whats the best pdf software for the windows 5.0 (xv 6700)??? i havent used adobe for ppc in a while but last time it bogged my phone down so much that i had to take it off

I use Pocket xPDF (http://pocketxpdf.sourceforge.net/) - it's not as fancy as Acrobat Reader, but it sure loads and renders a heck of a lot faster.

i actually heard that one was slow also even though a little faster than adobe... i may have to try it


i cant find Picsel for 6700 and when i try to dl from treo 700w site it ask for a serial number thats on the phone..... does anyone know where else i can dl this

Let's face it - opening pdf's are a real pain on Windows Mobile, and something I avoid whenever I can (not that it's any better on a full desktop). PDF is just not a suitable format for small screen PDAs. There are, I think a few more programs that can handle PDFs - including some that convert them to a 'friendlier' format - but nothing I can really recommend.

I use RepliGo to convert my pdf's to a format that can be viewed a little bit better on my PPC. You have to install the software to convert the pdf's on your PC, but I think it does a great job at reformating to view on the PPC.
