Mobisation’s Pocket PC (no MS Smartphone-compliance, sorry) Boneyboy (see THIS (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?s=Boneyboy&sentence=AND) for more info & reviews), which certainly deserved the winner position in this year’s Best Software Awards 2007 (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/awards/category_WandF_2007.asp?cat=Games) in the Pocket PC: Games: Run & Jump Platform Scrollers category, is offered for FREE when purchased from German mobility warehouse mobile2day.de till the end of the year.
As mobile2day has no English pages, I explain how you can navigate around (if you don’t go the Babelfish / Google Translate route). First, to register yourself, do the following:
1. go HERE (http://www.mobile2day.de/platform_wince/userregister.html). In the upper part, “Benutzername” is (local login) username, “Passwort” is, as you may already have guessed, password, “Passwort bestätigen” is “Repeat password”. In the lower one, Vorname is your Christian name and Nachname is your family name. Strasse is street address, PLZ is zip code, Ort is town and, Land is country. Change Anrede from Herr to Frau if you’re female and Firma if a company. Fill in your e-mail two times at the bottom and click “Registrieren” at the bottom right.
2. in the following “Registrierung erfolgreich” screen, click Nein (the lower radio button).
Note that if you want to make further purchases (this won’t be needed for getting Boneyboy), you might want to wait for their registration confirmation, which will be in the following form:
„Sehr geehrter Herr Ruotsalainen,
vielen Dank für Ihre Registrierung bei Mobile2Day. Bevor Sie Ihr Kundenkonto in vollem Umfang nutzen können, müssen Sie Ihr Profil freischalten. Bitte geben Sie dazu den nachfolgenden Code auf der angezeigten Seite ein.

In there, just copy and paste the code (here, denoted by xxxxxx) to the text input field on this page. That is, then, just leave the (selected) upper radio button intact - don't select the lower.
Now that you have an account there, to get the game,
1. click THIS (http://www.mobile2day.de/platform_wince/device/Dell/Axim+x50+%2C%2C+x50v/produkt.html?id=140186&noreload=1). Note that it lists the Dell Axim x50(v); it'll still run on all WM2003+ Pocket PC's.
2. click the “In der Warenkorb” („into the cart“) button in the center
3. enter “ChristKW52” in the Gutschein einlösen fill-in field (the bottom right one in THIS (http://www.winmobiletech.com/122007Mobisation/MobilityGutschein.png) screenshot) and click “Einlösen” under it
4. if you still haven’t logged in (you’ll already be logged in if you register yourself right before getting Boneyboy!), fill in your user name and password under “Ich bin bereits Kunde”:

and click “Anmelden & weiter”.
5. you’ll be taken to the „Eingaben prüfen & Kauf abschließen“ screen; here, tick in „Ja, ich akzeptiere die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen.“ in the bottom right and click „Einkauf abschließen“:

6. On the final screen (http://www.winmobiletech.com/122007Mobisation/erfolgreichEinkauf.png), just click „Download der Software“ at the bottom. On the next screen, click Download (the button in the middle). The game will be downloaded.
After this, just install the app on your handheld. Start it; on the first screen, you’ll be shown a purchase key. Now, go to the homepage of Mobisation (http://www.mobisation.com/), click Registration on the right of the header, fill in the form with your data; in the “Purchase Code” field, enter the purchase key you’ve been shown when starting the game on your handset. After clicking the button, you’ll be promptly sent the activation code; just enter it on your PDA.

Note that mobile2day has a lot of other, GREAT gifts – for example, till the end of the year, you get a 25% rebate on ALL titles there. Therefore, it’s worth registering yourself there (even if you need to struggle with German) even if you don’t want to play this excellent title. I’ll elaborate on these gifts in my following article (not in this one because they’re not only gaming-related).
