Just got myself a new HP iPAQ 112 Pocket PC. Anyway, how do I perform clean/hard-reset to factory default? Thanks and Merry Christmas! :D

HP will tell you there's no way to hard-reset the 112 but Lon Hon Chun (http://hongjun.blogspot.com/2007/12/how-to-hard-reset-hp-ipaq-112-classic.html) found this method after some intensive web searching:

To hard reset a HP iPAQ 112
1. Press Win + OK + Record together
2. While doing that, press reset button and hold for 3-4 seconds
3. Release reset
4. Release buttons
The screen shows "CLEAN REBOOT"

Looks like the finger dance all over again. 0X

Thanks for the info! :D And we've yet to find the three-fingered monkey @ HP that invented the clean/hard-reset mechanism, haha...

Heh... I tried this, and it just bricked the device overnight. Sure, it did the clean reboot, and even let me reload my apps and files.

The next morning, it wouldn't even turn on. It's going back to the store tonight (had this problem after only 1 week's ownership).
