However, the Ted Baker HTC Touch isn't based on HTC's Touch reference design but based on O2 Germany's O2 Xda nova industrial design...Named the Ted BakerNeedle, the handset is slim, compact and stylish and will be a smart addition to The Carphone Warehouse Christmas product range."

The first thing that crossed my mind when reading this was...who the h**k is Ted Baker? A quick Google search yielded Ted Baker the UK designer label, who have apparently revamped a number of phones exclusively for The Carphone Warehouse (insert another Google search here). As Arne notes, this version is based on the O2's Xda Nova variant, and will include exclusive wallpapers and start-up animation. You know, looking the Needle over, I'm thinking maybe HTC ought to have Ted Baker make over ALL their designs.
