Software Updates: Resco Explorer 2007 (v6.15), SecuBox 1.3, Spb Kiosk 4.1.1

This time around, we have a new release of <a href="http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/indepth.asp">Resco Explorer 2007</a>, which adds RAR decompression, optimization of folder refresh behaviour, and registry/FTP favourites. Next, there's <a href="http://www.aikosolutions.com/products/secubox-for-pocket-pc/">SecuBox 1.3</a>, which adds file wiping and enhanced integration of data encryption. And finally, there's a new version of <a href="http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/kioskengine/?en">Spb Kiosk</a> that comes packed with bug fixes. All are free updates (including Resco Explorer, if you purchased it within the past year).

Just an fyi that this version of Resco Explorer requires a new registration code, even for current owners.

Edit: Whoops, the last time I purchased it was over a year ago; I upgraded six months ago, so that may not apply to all users.

I thought that I had upgraded last December, however I requested a new reg-code and it was rejected.

It needs a new reg code, and when you ask for a reg code (even if you qualify for the free upgrade), the automated system sends you the code for the PREVIOUS version (6.10).

Nice to see I'm not the only one who can't upgrade. ;)

Same thing happened to me (reg code no good). :evil:
I hope Resco gets it together pretty soon.

Just tried running Resco Update on my Kaiser, on which I'm running 6.10 purchased a couple months back. RU doesn't show any updates available for Explorer 2007. Sounds like I should wait to install the update as they have some issues to work out...

yep registration problems here too. I hope the get it sorted out soon.

On cool thing i noticed is that it now supports .RAR files for the zip add in!

oh and i just got the regcode email... it says that i purchased over a year ago which i know is not true. I had to renew up year's time not all that long ago. :( something is really messed up.

They have the registration code issue resolved now. Go to the code resend page, it will send a new code that works.
