Hello, I've downloaded a link from the web which says windows mobile 5 upgrade for ppc, but the software won't work.
My Ipaq is currently running on the 2003 first edition. Can someone help me how can I upgrade my OS free.
Thanks

No WM5 upgrade exists for the iPAQ 2210. Regardless, it would not be offered for free.

Thanks for your reply doughboy. But I saw this site from HP:
http://h20331.www2.hp.com/Hpsub/cache/307933-0-0-225-121.html
and I call the HP hotline in our country (Philippines) and they answered that they don't offer this service it's just for the US market only.
The reason why I want to upgrade is that I want to view in landscape mode.
Hope someone can help me find a free software or the an OS upgrade to my unit Ipaq 2210.
Thanks

Phillipines or US doesn't matter much. The site indicates
"The Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrade is currently available for the HP iPAQ hx2000 and HP iPAQ hx4700 series Pocket PC."

May not be obvious but your 2210 is not part of the HX2000 series. That series came latter and came with WM2003SE on it. They never offerred any upgrade to the 2200 or 4100 series, even to WM2003SE. Your HP Hotline isn't very well informed on mobile devices, it seems.

There were at that time some third party programs (not free) that provided screen resolution changing and rotation. NYDITOT is the one that comes to mind. Don't know if it is still out there.
