View Full Version : Phatpad instead of Built in Notes?

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to completely replace the built in notes application with something like Phatpad?

I don't use it very often, but once in a while during a conversation I like to click the soft "Notes" button and scribble a phone number or a note.

It would be great if there was a way to map that "soft" notes button (a part of the keypad) to an alternative like Phatpad. Maybe through a registry hack or something?

I know I can map a hardware button, but that's not what I'm asking for.

Thanks for any help,
T.

By the way, I tried to ask Phatware for help on this,

Instead of trying to research it and maybe find a solution for an existing customer, they basically said they don't know how to do it.

I've dealt with their support in the past, not very customer friendly, and not very helpful.

Maybe I'm spoiled with the kind of support I can get from SPB, or SBSH, or WebIS. They know how to support their customers.

Anyway, sorry for the rant.
