Help: Mini-SD card dumped all my data.

Turned on my Audiovox 6700 today and noticed that there was nothing on my mini-SD card. Lost everything. :evil: Here are my questions.
1. Is there any way to recover information?
2. I have never seen a back-up option on this device. Am I missing something?
3. Recommendation for a good back-up utility?

1. Yes, a google for data recovery will bring up a whole bunch of trial software. I don't know one from the other to recommend it.
2.Nope, there isn't a backup software on the 6700. With the WM5 persistent storage...MS & OEM's thought "Who'd need that?"
3. Sprite or SPB backup.
