alright, i've had the 8525 for a week, so i'm in the process of setting it up. at some point i changed the soft button to sscontacts, but i dont remember how. i tried going into the registry and changing it directly, but the default key is set to sscontacts. i tried changing the open key, but it wont open any shortcuts i give it, much less change the text on the today screen.

How do you like the 8525 so far? I have one and I think it is the best phone enabled device out there.

so far it's great. still has a few quirks i expect from windows devices, but over all quite nice.

Most of the programs from my iPAQ. One of the first I loaded was Opera Browser. I have some freeware like ConverterCE, TCPMP, My Mobiler, and PocketDict to name a few. I also have Novii Remote Deluxe and Pocket Mechanic Pro on it. I just got it so I am still looking for any useful phone edition tools that will improve the experience.

I noticed HTweakC says it enables gps. Does that work for the 8525?
