I've been using PTVL for several years and have been very happy with it. I bought it originally, but it's been free for quite a while, and I think Thumbsupsoft support was discontinued some time ago.
Now there's been an announcement from Zap2It Labs that as of Sep 1 they will no longer provide the listings. Most of the posts on their forums are from MythTV users, but I'm assuming that PTVL users are in the same boat.
Is there anything else out there? I know Handango sells a subscription service, and I don't really mind paying, but from the description it sounds like it's just a realtime thing when you're connected to the internet, rather than data downloaded and saved on the PPC.
