Is it possible to interface a barcode reader that has either a large USB or ps/2 connector to a pocket pc? I've been searching for an adaptor but to no avail.. anyone??

Nope. Well maybe. The only potential solution requires that you have a PPC with a USB host capability. These are limited, so if you don't know that yours supports this, it probably doesn't.

Barcode support for PPCs is not out of the question though. There are SD and CF scanners available, and even BT ones. Head over to www.mobileplanet.com and stick 'barcode' in the search box. I have a Socket SD one, but the http://www.mobileplanet.com/d.aspx?i=119895 has aleways intrqued me.

If your looking for a Windows Mobile unit that scans, check out the PSC Falcon 4400. It has Windows Mobile, and is a scanning unit. Go to PSC / Datasource (http://www.pscnet.com). I use these for work. They are low on memory, and lack an SD port, but they work for what they are intended for.

Good luck,
