Does anyone know if imate 7150 has usb host capabilities?
I am not able to control my senses to wait long for a vga device. If Imate 7150 has usb host then may be, I will wait little longer.
My ETEN m600+ died at a prime age of 364 days :-(

I haven't seen anything to indicate that it does, though without units in anybody's hands, can't be sure. But i-mate has never put a high emphasis on USB host.

Thank you. I could not find it on the net too. G900 also seems to be triband which is again useless in USA (rather less useful), XDA flame is in the same position. I do not think I have any choice for 3.5" or more VGA phone at this point other than HTC advantage, unless you know of something in the offing.
Thanks.

There were formerly rumors of an HTC Omni, in the design of the HTC Universal, but after this long I doubt we're ever going to see it. So for quad-band and VGA, it's basically the Advantage or the Ultimate.

There's also the Sharp EM-ONE, but it's Japanese-language only, and data only as well, no voice unless you run VOIP. And the ETEN X500+, which is VGA and quad-band, but only a 2.8" screen.

Who makes the ultimate?

If you mean who is the manufacturer, I have no idea. Lately, i-mate has been working with a company called Tech Faith Wireless in China for some of their units, but it's not known if they'll manufacture the Ultimate models, or if some other company will.
