I have a T-Mo Vario 2 (aka TyTn etc.) running WinMo5 and I wanted to look up a contact today, so I hit the 'contacts' softkey from the today screen and got the following:
"The file 'Quickcontact2' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file."
I'm only using the PIM software supplied with the PPC, and although I own a copy of PI, I haven't installed it since the last time I hard reset this beastie. I have soft reset several times to no avail. Oddly, Contacts runs just fine from my start menu shortcut, so I'm hoping that the softkey shortcut just got corrupted somehow. Can it be restored, or am I looking at a hard reset here?
