Reformat HP Ipaq Rx3115?

I've got let over icons from uninstalled applications and could not get rid of them. I'd like to re-format the ipaq but not sore how. any suggestions?

I know if you let the battery run all the way down on my IPAq that will reset it to factory. I would check your manual though, there is a better way to do it I'm sure.

If it's anything like the rx3715, it involves some sort of Vulcan mind meld hand contortion using the outside two buttons on the front and the recessed reset button (with a stylus) and holding for a few seconds, etc. (I don't have that device any more, and it was over a year since I did the hard reset, so that may not be entirely accurate.)

Yes, that is exactly it. Press and hold button 1 & 4 and the recess reset button with the stylus at the same time. I managed to get it done.
