IPAQ 1955 is dead

When I turned on my IPAQ 1955, all I see a white screen with colored vertical lines on the screen. I have tried a hard reset, but to no avail. I am glued to my IPAQ and don't know what to do. Can it be fixed, or is it time to buckle in and buy a new one?

If you tried a hard reset and it didn't work, it's a hardware failure. I'd contact HP ASAP to get a repair on the device, or think about getting a new replacement.

I've been there before - your LCD is fried and needs to be replaced.

might work...

weird solution, leave the ppc out for a couple of days without the battery connected and re try it later, it MAY just start to work.

i had the same prob with 2 ppc's.
