Hi,
Just purchased a new HP1950, and keen to access my WiLAN which uses WPA2 encryption.
Can the HP1950 handle this, and if so, how do I set it up?
Cheers,
PB

Hi welcome to PPCT!

I'm sorry to say the 1950 can't take WPA2, nor can most PDAs pre-2007. I'm not even sure if the current devices on the market are capable.

Most of today's devices do support WPA2, although they must be running Windows Mobile 5.0 AKU 3.x or Windows Mobile 6. Unfortunately, the h1950 isn't one of them.

Hi All,

Many thanks for the responses.

I have also had some info from a mate who advises that:

"The manual http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00504883/c00504883.pdf has good stuff under the connections topic."

I will also follow this up.

Thanks again.

Cheers,
