How to get WiFi Status on PPC

Hello Everyone,

I need to know the status of my WiFi on my device(PPC).
Currently is WiFi (Wireless LAN ) is enabled or disabled ?

There can be any registry value or notification once the WiFi is turned ON or OFF.
So plz help me out in finding out how to know whether the device is Wi-Fi Enabled or Diabled?
