Help! There is a large dead-spot on my iPAQ 2210 glasstop/digitizer (caused when I "fixed" it; it wouldn't respond at all at one point!).

I can buy a complete new screen (inc. digitizer) off eBay for around £45, but before I do that I'd like to know which glasstops/digitizers are compatible; there are glasstops on ebay for other IPAQS, from around £15, but none specifically for a 2210.

Does anybody out there know if there are ones for other IPAQs that are also compatible with the 2210?

Many thanks.

You need one specifically for the 2200.

Be careful buying screens off of ebay. There are companies out their taking scrap LCDs that have faults, throwing a new touchscreen on it and selling it as new. make sure it is a reputable source.

Leonard, thanks for that. Now I know, I think I'll go for a new screen.

Thanks also for your advice; the screens I'm looking at are listed as new HP parts. The seller has 99.5% +ve feedback on 28000+ transactions, so hopefully they're genuine.

Thanks again.
