French OS on Pocket PC

Hi,

Is there any way, I can load French OS on my existing English OS. I have got a Pocket PC 2005 Dell X50. Are there any softwares available. Please help me in this regard.

Hello alina, and welcome to PPCT.

You cannot legally load a different language OS from the one the device originally came with - it's a matter of the license agreement. I'm also unsure if Dell ever issued a French language device in the first place, so it's not only illegal but not technically possible either.

I assume you're referring to the language of the OS? If so, that's not possible with Windows Mobile 5 and below. Language provisioning is only enabled with Windows Mobile 6 (and Dell has not announced, and is unlikely to announce, any sort of Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for its existing Axim devices).
