It truly is feature rich and easy to use. The ability to keep a history of chats is also a feature that I really like. The only thing that I would love SHAPE Services to add in the future would be the ability to use multiple accounts on a single service. All in all, this is a polished product that is nearly perfect. It is also the only real-time solution that I’ve come across that is cost effective. It works and it’s easy."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/JAMM_IMplus.gif" /><br /><br /><i>tjchan</i> reviews Shape Services' IM+ for <a href ="http://justanothermobilemonday.com/Wordpress/2007/02/14/review-im-msn-yahooicq-aoljabber-google-talk-for-pocket-pc/" target="_blank">Just Another Mobile Monday</a>. It's certainly worth checking out if you need a multiple-service IM client. I've IM'd on my Pocket PC before, but I don't have a keyboard yet for my newest device so I've not done much lately. I'm just not very speedy at tapping out responses. :) Anyone a heavy IM user on their mobile device?

Since I don't have a laptop (yet) when I am away from my computer for a long time (vacation, or when I'm bored at work-I do not have access to a computer there) Using the software keyboard is very annoying, since a person using a computer can respond faster than you and the conversation gets out of sync. I also dont like how you cannot see things that you would with a desktop IM client, like idle times, or if the user is typing a response.

I used to tether my Moto v710 to my iPAQ at work, (I also don't have WiFi there) but since I upgraded to the e815 I cannot tether anymore. Man, I hate Verizon. But thats another post for another thread.

That is a little steep, or spendy as I used to say in Minnesota.

I've used it. Pretty cool software. But unfortunatelly, I don't have a use for it. All my contacts use either MSN or Yahoo messanger, and they work together pretty well.

For me it always comes back to the same thing..... does it have SMS alert like Verichat did. Where you could stay 'logged in' all the time without actually having to leave the conneciton open? If it does... I'm all over it even with that price tag.... since Verichat is closing down. If it doesn't, it is just like all the others to me... a real battery drainer.

my husband and I use IM+ everyday!! This is one of the main reasons my husband has the 6700. He uses yahoo IM for work to keep in touch with clients, which is a must. This software is awesome but the price is alittle steap, especially when we had to purchase two copies!! But i guess someone knows what they are doing b/c we bought two copies!! lol :D
