Now that WM6 is public, it gives me great pleasure to announce the following changes that we made in WM6:<br /><li> Certificate Installer built into the platform<br />[list:159cc90483]<li> Installs CER, P7B, and PFX files<br /><li> No more Access Denied messages.<br /><li> Installs certs to the ROOT, Intermediate, and MY store<li>Wildcard Certificate support for SSL"[/list:u:159cc90483] Some of you may be aware of the fact that certificate management in previous versions of Windows Mobile was inconsistent at best, and some devices needed special software installed to even get the certificates in the unit. As a IT support person, I'm very glad to see that WM6 will have far better support for certificate management -- this is very important for handling secure communications, especially amongst companies that roll their own certificate chains.
