Is there going to be an activesync that is compatiable with Windows Vista pretty soon?

Well, there's already an available download of Windows Mobile Device Center, the new program that replaces ActiveSync under Vista.

Does it only since contacts with Outlook not Windows Mail?

That is correct. WMDC only supports Outlook, not Windows Mail or Calendar that come with Vista, just as AS did not support Outlook Express. Guess we can hope for third party support for the Vista native apps.

Im not a big fan of it. I downloaded Outlook and now I can't seem to set it up to sync, I seen it somewhere last night, and now can't find it.

I have been having some troubles with the Vista Sync.

First: Isn't very reliable if you allow the computer to go to sleep.

Second: Due to a bad Vista upgrade I ended up doing a clean install and forgot to grab my pst file before the fdisk. No big deal since I have contacts and calender items on PDA. There are probably 100 items on my PDA calender that did not sync back to the PC. Most if not all of these items have a category on them but i can't see where that would be a problem.

Any ideas?
