Does anyone know of a program that will record audio data input via the headphone port on iPaq Pocket PCs? Will this post even accept input?

The port you describe is a multi-purpose input/output port - common in Pocket PC Phones, but a rarity in classic Pocket PCs (only a couple have them). NoteM (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-notem-v1-21.html) is a good, simple, and free recording application that you can try. The best way to test line in capabilities of your port is to use an audio cable (compatible with the pin configuration of the port) and connect one end into the port of your Pocket PC and one end to an audio source (e.g., the line out port of your computer). Play a sample of audio and check to see if your Pocket PC can record it. If it can, then your port has line in capabilities. If it can't, then it doesn't, and your only real option for recording is the Pocket PC's built-in microphone (if present).
