My Universal hangs at the game's start-up screen, requiring a soft reset. Anyone else have this trouble or is it just me?

Anyone else having problems downloading it? I click the "Download for Pocket PC" link and get an error page.

Has anyone gotten this to work? I'd like to save myself the trouble if it's a lost cause (I was able to download).

I was able to download, install (to card) and play with no difficulty. Treo 700wx.

However, Tiger is safe for the moment.

At HowardForums, other Universal users seem to have the same problem - see http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1095515

No problems for me installing to card on 2 devices - T-Mo MDA and iPaq hx4700. It runs well on both.

Works fine on my smartphone (installed to mini-sd card). I haven't tested it on my hx4700 though. :)

However, the other free app, Omega One's calculator is really really slow when opening up (10 minutes or so).

I don't have that issue with my JAMin. It's even installed to the storage card on it, and while there is a perceivable delay in launching, it's only a very minor delay.

I got the game installed on my UTStarcom 6700 (main memory) and running successfully. Haven't tried installing to the miniSD card yet. Only two problems I've had are in gameplay itself: yardage-to-pin not always updating after the initial tee-off, and the mulligan feature subtracting a stroke. It's easier to just save the game and then exit & come back in to replay the hole/shot. It's a fun game overall though.

Gamoku also offers free games for Pocket PCs. The games are online and requires Flash browser plugin. The games really work and quite fun - they are optimized for Pocket PCs. So check out http://www.gamoku.com (came across this website on PocketPCThoughts article last year). You can get the Flash player for PocketPC at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer_pocketpc/
