Rather compact and especially light, PDAPhone Asus P535, which has a code name “Galaxy II”, has a processor Intel Xscale given rhythm to 520 MHz, of a touch screen of a size of 2,8 inches for a resolution QVGA, of 256 Mo from ROM memory and 64 Mo of memory RAM, the whole in addition to one double connector industry without wire Wifi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/hisham-20070108-asusp535.jpg" /><br /><br />Mobinaute has a very detailed review of Asus' new P535 GSM phone wih GPS, with lots of pics. Highlights: sensitive GPS performance, 2MP camera with autofocus, 256MB ROM, a nice software bundle (WorldCard Mobile, Esmertec JVM, Skype), great performance benchmarks, and complete car kit. The lowlights include no support for 3G or EDGE (), and no AGPS. If mobile data is not a requirement, this looks like a pretty strong contender. OK, no 3G I can understand. Well, actually, I can't understand it, but lots of devices don't support 3G, so nothing shocking there. But not even EDGE? Yikes.

I went and looked on the ASUS web site, not only does it not list edge, it looks like it also tri-band only with no 850. That sucks, my Jam is needing replacement soon and I liked the way this looked.

Uh, actually EDGE is pretty ubiquitous wherever there's GSM.

Hello everyone. I am having 4 problems (for now) and a made a video on youtube called P535problem The link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNrmmtneFzI . The fist one is that the light turna on for it self. The second is a gray line under 30% of all pictures. The third is the menu sync frequency who dos not allow you to change parameters, when you close this windows all changes come back to factory defaults an the last observed for now is that in a ISP connection you can not selec the Bluetooth like modem, it says there is no BT on this device. Check mi video, coment it, please.
