Some of these trends will fully flower in 2007, while in other cases we'll just see the start of a big trend that will develop more fully in years to come."</i><br /><br />Although largely US-centric, this Computerworld article details some interesting prognostication on trends in the mobile and wireless markets. There are some things I find less likely like the spread of mobile email, but that's because I'm in a market where SMS predominates. I especially like the cautionary note on mobile TV, though the Korean experience indicates that there will be markets where this could find a niche. What are your thoughts on 2007?

2007 will be the year where we hold our breath, and get to know Vista, and all the topics it will lead to, and then we sit back and await WM 5.5/6.0 Crossbow, to see if it solves anny of the Vista issues.

It will allso be the year where 1 or 2 GB storrage ROM will be the hype/new standard.

Hopes:

Improvements to the mobile Internet, like more sites with a PIE friendly design.

A new upgraded Dell Axim, when Crossbow arrives.

Better batterys

More VGA screens
