There are unconfirmed reports that I've seen that Verizon will be releasing the 700wx on 1/29/07 and I was wondering that ,if true, is it worth upgrading my 700w. I love it, but the memory on this thing sucks big time, or next question, should I hold out until new devices are released with the new Crossbow OS?

Treo 700w Specs (http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=341)

So isn't the only difference 32mb RAM vs 64mb RAM? I mean, if the 32mb is really bugging you then sure, go ahead but otherwise there's really no noticeable difference. As for as Crossbow is concerned, I don't think anybody is in any position to make recommendations yet as we don't even know what devices will be made around that new OS.

Unfortunately, that RAM difference is pretty large, especially with the AKU2 firmware. That said, I've got to agree with you. It depends on how badly you want the upgrade. I'm managing with the 700w for now.

I'm managing for now as well, but my main sticking point is on how slow Pocket Informant runs. Heck, for that matter, how everything runs slow on it. Love the form factor though.

The word on the street is that the 700wx should be out on VZ over the next three weeks! (EngadgetMobile)

Another good feature of the 700wx is that it will also allow you to use dial-up networking out of the box (disabled for the 700w).

Of course, this was always the case with sprint... I've read the same will be true now for verizon.
