Overall, information is sparse and there's only a few photographs. Specifications for this device include 2.7" QVGA screen 2Mpix camera, MiniSD slot, MiniUSB port, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM Tuner, GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G support. Thoughts?

I've made it pretty clear to anyone who asks that I love the Atom and wish like mad they sold it here in the US.

The dimensions of the Apollo and the current Atom are idential (see my review on the Atom at http://www.clintonfitch.com/reviews/o2/atom/default.asp). The Apollo weights a bit more (10gm) but no biggie.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what this device has on the inside (processor, RAM, etc).

I would love to see a 624MHz processor in this one...

It looks a little taller and a little thinner than the Xda Atom...

I like the chrome touch on this one... although the buttons are supposed to be chrome... and not black...

It has the much needed softkey buttons finally... and the front facing camera...

I know we will have it here in the Philippines... :D

A 3G version of the Atom can only be a good thing :D

Yes I really like the look of this device. The Atom with 3G, making an already good device even better!

I hope this gets released in Australia, however I did think that O2 would not be releasing any more devices in the Asia-Pacific region. Does this mean it will be released by Dopod instead?

Yes they will, just not any devices from HTC.

Very unlikely, since this device is made by Quanta, not HTC.

my friend had a bad experience with the ATOM [2 lemons... :( he finally gave up and bought a dopod 838pro] nice to see that O2 is following up on the ATOM though [it's wildly successful], hope build quality is better and they don't use the smudge-magnet finish.
