Hi,

First post to this forum - hope someone can help! :D

I used to have an i-mate PDA 2K running Windows Mobile 2003 (Pocket PC)

I've recently bought an i-mate JAMin running Windows Mobile 5.0. I love the push email but, it appears some things are missing???

- when sending an SMS, you used to be able to bring up contacts, then filter by category - I can't see how this works now?
- when sending an SMS, you used to have a feature of pre-canned responses , once again, I can't see how this works now?

If anyone can help me here, I'd appreciate it.

I'm not sure about that first feature; I had never used it before, and I don't see any ability to filter AFTER starting a new message. You CAN, however, filter your Contacts, find the one you want and THEN tap-and-hold to create a new SMS.

To use the "My Text" feature, start a new SMS, place the cursor anywhere in the body of the message, and then tap MENU > MY TEXT. That's also where you can edit the text.
