Have FSC designed a machine which can achieve those goals and hit a top position in the market? All I can say is...I've got a sad case of gadget envy here! About my only beef with this device is the square screen and the reported poor quality of the camera, but everything else seems top-notch. If you're looking for an all-in-one device that can compete with the Hermes and Trinity, this is a great candidate.

Also keep in mind that it is not a quad-band phone (no 850 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE). Nor does it support US 3G bands -- it's 2100 MHz only!

Perhaps a perfect phone for Europe, but another non-starter for the US :(

I would say it's a perfect phone for use outside of US and Japan rather.

BTW, a critique of the review was posted on firstloox.org (http://www.firstloox.org/forums/showthread.php?p=60871#post60871), that contains some error corrections.

240*240 screen kills it for me..

Disappointing to see that the screen's "black border" (http://www.4winmobile.com/tg/T830/0360.JPG) is still present. Reasonable device, otherwise.
