I emailed Vodafone Australia last night about the 750v, and their response was that they don't have any release details for it yet. I asked them why it had been released in Europe, Hong Kong and New Zealand but not here, and they resent their first email. :(

Omegacell (in Edmonton) has the 750v for sell. http://www.omegacell.com/Phones/PalmOne/PalmOne+Treo+750v.html It's tempting...

(I'm not affiliated with omegacell. Just bought phones from it several times.)

 Very cool. However, imo, $900CAD is a bit steep. Too bad Mad Monkey Boys Gadgets (http://www.dweiniger.com/) doesn't have it as they're generally cheap as far as price goes.

very steep indeed for a device that doesn't have wifi, but then again it will have UMTS [it's not yet HSDPA but I read somewhere there is already an unofficial patch/hack for this] so if you have a nice data plan loosing out on WiFi will be a non-issue.
