I am interested in using my Toshiba Laptop with a PC Card configured as a GSM Cell Phone to get Broadband access such as shown in recent Sprint TV advertisements. My laptop has Wi-Fi built in but it is a pain in the butt to have to find a Wi-Fi Hotspot or drop into an Internet cafe or bookstore for access. I live in a primitive backwoods village called Pensacola, Florida, USA where cell phone service is pretty good with all carriers available. Only unacceptable cell provider is >>AllTel.<<Ptui !!!
My current cell service is T-Mobile with a branded type SDA smartphone, but I can change at any time.
Interests: Best Cell Provider. Best Bandwidth/Speed to expect. Price to expect for unlimited airtime. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
