I bought a set of BT stereo phones from Woot last weekend.. They arrived today, but with no manual at all. I am having trouble getting my X50v to connect to them. Would they have a default passkey? Something I would know if I had instructions ? Any help out there?

Maybe if you posted the brand/model, someone might be able to help more easily. Typically though the PIN is 0000, though I have seen others. My Parrot is 1234, and my Socket GPS is 0183, but most things seem to be 0000.

Next question. Does your X50 support A2DP? Doesn't the way it came from Dell. Is there such a profile in BT Manager, or one called High Quality Audio? Hands-free/Headset isn't what you want. That's mono and geard for a phone type interface, one ear and a mic.

Try disabling authentication and encryption, and using a generic PIN like 0000. That usually works.

I am talking about the notorious Logitech BT phones. Anyone have the manual and can send to me as a pdf?
