Darius Is One Crazy Posting Monster

Well, it's happened for only the third time in Thoughts Media history. The crazy Aussie who always seems to be wearing headphones (well, according to his shocked avatar, at least) has reached the 10,000-post milestone!<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/parekh-20060926-Darius10k.gif" /><br /><br />Alas, I was on my way into work when he hit 10,000. I guess he found 10001 to be a rounder number, but it's close enough. ;) In any case, as most of you know, Darius isn't a frivolous poster -- the vast majority of his posts are informative and helpful to end-users (as was <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=418306#418306">his 10,000th</a>). It's a testament to his contributions to the community, as well as a testament to our readers, who engage in interesting discussions. If you look around the internet it's pretty easy to find lots of folks in forums with well over 10,000 posts. It's not just the post count that is important, it's the quality of the posts that counts. Darius' post have the much more unique qualities of having numbers AND being informative and helpful....that's the trick.

Nice going, Darius, dude! Assuming that your "joined date" is pretty close to the day you made your first post, you've reached that milestone in under three years! Let's see, that means you average, um.. that's 10,000 divided by....uhhh.. multiplied by.... the number of days in.... "thirty days hath September, April, June and..."...
Anyway, forget the math. Good job!

I still remember you trying to guess when I'd hit 1000... sadly I haven't quite kept up with you since then. ;) I still read PPCT all the time, but have been pretty busy with other stuff in the last year (and don't tell, but I've converted to mainly being a Smartphone guy, only occasionally using my Axim).
